• Know in advance what you want them to know about you, and make a list of questions you want them to ask. Come prepared! 
• Practice your PPU formula (this stands for personal, professional, and unique.) This will set you apart from the rest right away.
• Show don’t tell: give a behavioral example. Stories of challenges you’ve overcome or examples from past experience help tremendously.
